Terms of Service

1. Marketplace Nature & Acceptance

MotorLink AutoConnect provides a digital marketplace platform. By accessing our services, you acknowledge that MotorLink:

  • Acts solely as a facilitator and brokerage platform connecting buyers, sellers, and dealers.
  • Does not take ownership of vehicles listed by third-party sellers.
  • Is not a party to the actual contract of sale between buyers and sellers, unless specifically stated for our own inventory.

2. User Obligations & Listings

All users must provide accurate, current, and complete information. Sellers and Dealers represent and warrant that:

  • All vehicle listings are accurate and include valid VIN/Chassis numbers.
  • All images provided are actual photos of the specific vehicle being listed.
  • Image Policy: A minimum of 10 images is required for every listing to ensure trustworthiness. This must include:
    • At least 3 exterior angles (Front, Rear, Side profile)
    • Detailed interior shots (Dashboard, Seats, Odometer)
    • Engine bay and trunk area
  • "Bait-and-switch" tactics or fraudulent listings will result in immediate permanent account termination.

3. Buyer Due Diligence & Disclaimers

While we perform initial seller verification, buyers are strictly responsible for:

  • Conducting independent mechanical inspections before purchase.
  • Verifying vehicle registration and ownership details via NTSA/TIMS.
  • Ensuring all financial transactions follow secure, documented procedures.

4. Fees and Brokerage Commissions

Use of certain platform features or successful brokerage connections may be subject to fees or commissions. These are clearly outlined in our current pricing schedule and are non-refundable once the service has been rendered.

5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from the use of our platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
